I know you can relate.

I rarely wear heels anymore. They’ve been relegated to church on Sunday and funerals. Even then I have a pair of flats or flip flops in a bag because I’m kicking them off as soon as I get to my seat. I’m not one of those stubborn, ‘fashion first,’ just deal with the pain, kind of girls. Give me a pair of comfortable flats and I’m good.

So, why am I writing a review of Dr Scholl’s For Her, High Heel Insoles? Well, the condensed answer to that question is this:

I belong to a blogging community called voiceBoks. It’s a great community and if you’re not a member, get on over there and become one. It’ll be the best thing that ever happened to your blog. One of the bloggers in vBoks started a Buzz Agent group. Huh? I’d never even heard of it. Being the inquisitive soul that I am, I had to go check it out. I signed up to become a Buzz agent, answered a bazillion survey questions and waited for a campaign.

Because God has a wacky sense of humor, the very first campaign I get is….

You got it..

When your feet Hurt nothing else matters.GiaVanne's Gems

Dr Scholls For Her High Heel Insoles. According to the package the insoles:

*Are proven to improve the way you feel in heels. *Helps prevent foot pain. *Ultra-soft gel arch shifts pressure off your ball of foot. *FabuSTEP Gel provides added cushioning. * Slim design won’t make shoes tight. *Guaranteed all day comfort.

Have you ever seen the gel insole commercials? The ones where everybody says they’re gellin? That’s the truth.  I took my flats just in case but I didn’t have to kick my heels off. With these insoles; “I was gellin like a felon!” I don’t know if they would still feel good if I was on my feet all day because I wasn’t, and hopefully I never will be.

I also received a stack of coupons worth 4 dollars off the purchase price of  the insoles, that was pretty cool since they retail for about 10 bucks. I’ll take my savings wherever I can get them.

I did not receive one dime for this review. As a Buzz Agent, I received a complimentary set of insoles. The opinions are mine. If they sucked, I would have told you.

Live Beautifully!

  6. I enjoyed your review. It’s weird but I have never had a problem in high heels. Certain types of sandals, flips and sneaker without arch support is when I have the pain. I have a pair of gel insert to wear if I go someplace like an amusement park and I am walking all day. My feet will eventually hurt but not as early as if I weren’t wearing the inserts at all. I’ll have to check out Buzz Agents.

    • Whenever I do a lot of walking, my feet hurt and it really doesn’t seem to matter what I’m wearing. Even those, expensive (ugly) walking shoes are no help. Heels usually start killing me immediately, but the inserts really made a difference.
