eShakti Review and Giveaway

When I was given the opportunity by the Fashionista Blogger group to review an original custom designed dress from eShakti.com I almost slept on what turned out to be a wonderful opportunity. Why? Because I rarely wear dresses unless they are maxi length. See, I have these uncommonly skinny calves and ankles that don’t fit the rest of my body. Stop laughing! I’m serious. My wardrobe consists mainly of slacks and maxis. When I go shopping I walk right past the dresses because I already know I’m not going to find anything I’d wear.

I decided to visit the eShakti website and I was completely shocked. Give them your measurements and they customize the clothing to your specifications. If you want sleeves put on a sleeveless dress – no problem. Don’t like the length – change it! Where are you going to get customized clothing from these days without spending a fortune?  They have a large selection of beautiful dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, coats and accessories.

I selected a black skirt with this pretty swirly print at the bottom. On the website it was shown below the knee length but I requested ankle length for my height which is 5’7″.  I love it. It even has pockets! There are so many ways I can dress it up or dress it down, depending on the occasion. For these photos I paired it with a black and gold lame’ top and  since the weather was perfect for them, a pair of gold sandals. It’s supposed to be a Fall skirt, but the fabric is light enough for warm days and heavy enough for cooler weather.
