High-end Brazilian retailer will open a flagship store today, Thursday August 2nd, at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, CA. Really? Where else would a high-end retailer open their flagship?
According to the press release:
The sexy, sophisticated brand, poised to import the best of Brazilian chic to Southern California, has offered creatively designed, meticulously handcrafted shoes, bags, and other accessories to consumers for nearly two decades.
The franchise is headquatered in Sao Paulo Brazil and has 215 stores in 16 countries world wide. The first US store opened in April in Danbury Connecticut. Huh?? They have plans to add stores in New York, Florida and other unnamed US markets.
I’m not at all personally familiar with their products. I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a pair up close and personal, but from everything I’ve been reading today lately, 
a lot of celebrity fashionistas are really loving on the Carmen Steffens brand, which is probably why I haven’t eyeballed them in person… yet.
For those of you who, like moi, have an insatiable desire to look at stuff, here is some of their products.
I adore the snakeskin peep toes in the second row. Never mind the fact that I would break both ankles and fall flat on my butt.
