Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by. My name is Taylor. I’m an over fifty Boomer. 

This blog began as the result of a spontaneous reaction to two things that happened one evening:

1. I realized that I had begun allowing those nagging, negative, “you’re old, your life is over “ thoughts to enter my mind. The thing is… I didn’t  feel old and insignificant, so why in the world was I entertaining such foolishness? As I pondered that question;
2. My thoughts, beliefs and opinions on Living beyond the age of Fifty developed a life of their own. They had an insatiable need to be shared. They require an outlet and battered me until I gave them, GiaVanne’s Gems.

It is my hope that as you explore this site you will find articles that entertain, inform or in the very least. offer something in return for your time. I welcome your feedback.
