Collecting Worker’s Compensation Benefits Should Not Be A Nightmare
Marilyn is a very good friend of mine who works in the Housekeeping Department at one of the largest hospitals here in Philadelphia. She got hurt on the job a couple of years ago. It wasn’t one of those phony slip and fall cases either. Her injury was severe enough to require surgery on her right knee. Now if you think (like I did) the fact that she works in a hospital, got hurt on the job, had her surgery performed in the same hospital she had no worries. Guess what? You’re wrong. Her worries had just begun.

Turns out the reason she was in so much pain was because of “complications” from the surgery. In other words they botched it. She had to have a full knee replacement operation.
A month later, she started speaking to me again too.
